A Stunning 3ct Georgian Rose Cut Diamond Novelty Parrot Ring Circa 1800? This is a Stunning 3ct Georgian Rose Cut Diamond Novelty Parrot Ring Circa 1800's. The ring consists of a realistically modelled sliver parrot that has been pave set with rose cut diamonds that weigh in total approximately 3ct. The eye of the parrot has been set with a red ruby.
The dimensions of the parrot are 35mm by 16mm. What is really nice about this ring is the attention to detail in the workmanship as the underside of the parrot has been artistically modelled with engraving and embossing work to look like a real parrot. The parrot is perched on a sliver branch that has also been set with rose cut diamonds and which also forms the top part of the shank. The shank on the ring tests as 15ct yellow gold and is currently sized a British finger size O / USA 7¼ but could be resized up or down by us free of charge. The ring is in excellent condition with no visible damage and none of the stones are missing or chipped or cracked. The ring is still very much wearable and looks fantastic when worn.
