We have for sale a Stunning Georgian Rose Cut Diamond and Enamel Ring Circa 1790s. The ring consists of a marquise shaped gold top that has been enamelled in translucent purple enamel. Set in the centre of the ring is a cluster of bright white old mine cut diamonds that have been set in cut down silver settings.
The dimensions of the diamond cluster are 18mm by 12mm and the total weight of all of the diamonds is approximately 2ct. The dimensions of the top of the ring are 36mm by 22mm. The ring tests as 15ct yellow gold and the shank on the ring is currently sized a British L / USA 5 ¾ but could be resized up or down by us free of charge.The ring is in very good condition with no visible damage to the enamel and it looks very special when worn.
