We have for sale a stunning Pair Of Cabochon Garnet & Rose Cut Diamond Fly Earrings Circa 1800s. The earrings consist of round cabochon garnet tops that measure 10mm in diameter and have a rose cut diamond set in the centre of them. Suspended from these is a pear shaped garnet that measures 20mm by 15mm and weighs approximately 21ct and has a silver fly set in the centre of it which has been set with rose cut diamonds. Suspended from the bottom of this is a silver drop that has also been set with rose cut diamonds. All of the garnet gemstones are nice bright red in colour and have been set in rub over silver settings the backs of which have been gold backed with gold that tests as 15ct yellow gold.
