The Pearl is surrounded by four Rose Cut Diamonds with Black Enamel decoration on the four corners.Along the shank are Rose Cut Diamonds and Black Enamel decoration. On the reverse of the ring is a locket compartment to place a keepsake of a loved one. The gold is 18 Karat Gold. It is extremely rare to find these original very early rings.
The jewel is worthy of the antique jewelry collections in the Victoria and Albert Museum in London and the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. The square portion of the top of the ring is 1/2 inch by 1/2 inch (13mm). The ring is a size 8 US, and can be easily resized if desired.The ring is hallmarked with British hallmarks including a crown, anchor and 18. The date mark is worn. The ring weighs 4.9 grams.
